Here’s my most recent batch of handmade, lampwork beads all using Italian and German made glass. Most of these will be donated to Beads of Courage (BOC). One or two may go up for sale if I can bear to part with them, namely the Dichroic Soleil bead…
Dichro Luna Bead – A new series showcasing shimmering blue toned dichroic glass set against varying shades of deep purple, blue and black. Silver glass is also used in these beads to add mystery and interest.
Dichro Soleil bead – The first in a series featuring brilliant dichroic glass set against warm hues of gold, yellow and oranges capturing the radiance and heat of the sun.
Turquoise Dot Bead – fun dots of reactive glass contrast against a turquoise colored twistie.
Echo Bead – Handmade twisties and stringers are spun around transparent glass then deeply raked for creating another Echo bead.
Echo series bead – So named as the raked glass is mean to resemble the markings from a heart rhythm on an echocardiogram machine. An experience that is close to my heart (pun intended ;-).
Fathom series – Referring to deep ocean currents, these beads explore color and movement with what I like to call “random precision”.
A gecko bead made specifically for BOC.
An Echo series bead using glorious Rubino Oro (pink gold) glass.
Pyre Series – Another name for ‘fire’, these beads contain glittering depths of goldstone hidden beneath the blazing colors of an intense inferno.
Safari Dot Bead – Curdled ivory glass is embellised with an amber and black spiraled twistie, goldstone stringer and rich black dots that react with the ivory glass.
