NEW Beads – 7/30/2020 (Small hole beads too!)

Hello, hello! Can you believe it’s almost August?

In some ways it feels like this year has gone by soooo slowly with everything going on. But now that August is here I’m wondering where the time went! Lol! 😀

The temperatures in my neck of the woods are starting to hit their peak (100+), ugh! I am watching the weather app on my phone like a hawk for the days that are somewhat cool enough to get out to the torch. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Collection of handmade glass art lampwork beadsIn the meantime I am happy to present to you this week’s collection of beads.

This week I have some small hole beads too! One is a large, round focal (the big pink one in this photo) and the others are a matching pair of small, round beads (the 2 blue ones).

The smaller hole beads are great for those of you who like to craft your own bead creations into necklaces and earrings.

Here is a link to the Lampwork Bead Market Facebook group where you’ll be able to find all these beads later today – you do have to join the group to view listings: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lampworkbeadmarket/

(P.S. If these beads are not picked up on FB I will move them over to Etsy.)

Thanks for looking!

NEW Beads – 7/23/2020

Happy Thursday! I hope you are safe and doing well –

I am happy to present a sneak peek of this week’s beads that will be listed on the Lampwork Bead Market FB group shortly.

Handful of encased murrini beads with sterling silver cores and bead caps

This batch of beautiful beads feature new murrini and lots of sparkly highlights including goldstone and shimmering dichroic glass.

I’ve also added bead caps to several of the beads!

I like to add full size caps to beads that are on the larger size so they can be worn both as a focal piece on a bracelet as well as a pendant on a necklace.

A couple of the smaller bracelet-size beads feature mini caps that do not add the amount of width to the bead that the larger caps do. They just give them a gorgeous, professional jeweler’s finish.

Here is a link to the Lampwork Bead Market Facebook group where you’ll be able to find these beauties later today – you do have to join the group to view listings: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lampworkbeadmarket/

(P.S. If these beads are not picked up on FB I will move them over to Etsy, however the pricing will be higher due to additional listing/selling fees that Etsy charges.)

Thanks for looking!

Sea Urchins & My New Pier Series Lampwork Beads

Summer may be winding down but the heat is cranking up where I live! While the rest of the country has seen some of the hottest weather we, here in SoCal, have been experiencing a fairly mild summer. Until now…. Typically, this time of year, we really get cooking all the way through October.

So even though Fall is just around the corner, I am still thinking of and inspired by the beach!

This week’s beads include my new ‘Pier’ series. These beads just reminded me of the pylons of a pier and all the little creatures that you can find attached to them:

Continuing with the sea life theme, I have two small round beads (perfect size for earrings!) featuring an organic design that reminded me of prickly sea urchins:

New Beads – Lampwork Sets & Focals

After enjoying some time off, and taking a creative detour for a while, I am finally back to making lampwork bead sets just for jewelry makers and collectors.

I have had so many new ideas and designs in my head just waiting to become a reality in glass. Here are some of the recent results:
