Lampwork Murrini Designs for Glass Artists

Besides making glass beads, another passion of mine is making decorative little murrini chips (also sometimes called millefiori). I use these in my own bead designs but end up making more than I can ever hope to use myself so I offer them to glass artists for use in their own glasswork.

I just added a few new murrini designs to my Etsy shop in pretty Spring and Summer colors!

*For those who would like to make their own murrini, don’t forget about my murrini tutorial also available on Etsy ;-D

Lavender Flowers in Settings of Silver & Gold

Just when we thought Spring was on its way, we got hit with another cold front. We were so enjoying the mid-80’s temperatures when the weather turned and now we’re back in the 50’s with rain in the forecast. I realize we Californian’s are weather-wimps and are spoiled by lots of great weather most the year – so I am not complaining….too much ;-D

Here is another floral focal and round bead set. I do not see myself tiring of this design anytime soon. Flowers have always made me happy 🙂

Pandora / Troll Style Big Hole Glass Beads

One of my goals this year has been to challenge myself with new designs I haven’t done before, or bring back designs I haven’t done in a long time.

It began with creating more florals in glass, and is continuing with making large hole beads that fit those popular European bracelets like Pandora, Biagi, Troll, etc.

I have made this style bead in the past but did not have the special tools needed to professionally line the large holes with solid sterling silver coring for that really beautiful, jeweler’s finish – but now I do!

Introducing my new line of Pandora-style glass beads fully lined from end to end with genuine sterling silver tubing:
