NEW Beads – 7/23/2020

Happy Thursday! I hope you are safe and doing well –

I am happy to present a sneak peek of this week’s beads that will be listed on the Lampwork Bead Market FB group shortly.

Handful of encased murrini beads with sterling silver cores and bead caps

This batch of beautiful beads feature new murrini and lots of sparkly highlights including goldstone and shimmering dichroic glass.

I’ve also added bead caps to several of the beads!

I like to add full size caps to beads that are on the larger size so they can be worn both as a focal piece on a bracelet as well as a pendant on a necklace.

A couple of the smaller bracelet-size beads feature mini caps that do not add the amount of width to the bead that the larger caps do. They just give them a gorgeous, professional jeweler’s finish.

Here is a link to the Lampwork Bead Market Facebook group where you’ll be able to find these beauties later today – you do have to join the group to view listings: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lampworkbeadmarket/

(P.S. If these beads are not picked up on FB I will move them over to Etsy, however the pricing will be higher due to additional listing/selling fees that Etsy charges.)

Thanks for looking!

Me and My Torch – Reunited! :D

Hello, hello! It has been quite a while since I last posted any new beads.

Life, for me, has taken many twists and turns during the past several months (nearly a year). From other projects taking my time and attention, to a big and complicated move to a new home, not to mention Covid, etc.

But now, finally, I am back making beads regularly and cannot tell you how happy it makes my heart to allow my creativity to flow once again.

You know how much I LOVE working with little murrini chips in my bead designs and, of course, these new beads are no exception.

I am very excited to share a few photos with you of some of my newly made beads:

NEW Beads March 2019 – small to large encased murrini big hole beads :-D

Hello fellow bead fans! I am pleased to bring you a new batch of Big Hole Beads – this time in varying sizes.

*Available Now in my Etsy Store!*

I worked hard to scale down my popular encased murrini beads to better fit in your charm bracelet ‘stacks’. I also made some in my usual Focal size as I know many of you like this size as a centerpiece on your bead bracelets.

I even scaled up my encased murrini beads a bit making a couple large size Focals for those who enjoy wearing these beads on a necklace!

In addition, you’ll see two dimensional sculptured glass beads made in my Feather design that I introduced some time back. I love the natural, organic style of these beads.

Well, I might be a little ‘late to the party’, but better late than never, right? Lol! 😀

handmade lampwork glass art murrini beadsYou can now find CCGlassArt on the ‘IG’ and I would absolutely love it if you would join me there.

Little by little I’m uploading lots of my bead photos, and will upload some videos there too…if I can figure out how to do that. 🙂

Now that the weather has cooled down I am gearing up to get back to the torch. I have so many new ideas for designs, I can’t wait! I need to make a few adjustments to my current torch set-up first, but once that’s done I’ll be good-to-go.

As always, I will keep you updated with any news and soon, some new beads to show.

Thank you for your continued support (and patience) while I found my inspiration to make beautiful beads again.

New Encased Glitter and Murrini Beads

It didn’t last long, but there was a short break in the sweltering heat of summer a couple weeks ago, and I was able to sneak in a torching session to make some new beads!

It had been almost 2 months since I last got to melt glass, and it was so nice to be back at it! But it was short lived… We are now up over 100 again, so I’ll keep hoping for another opportunity to make more beads. Keep your fingers crossed for me! 😀

Until then, here are the new beads. Some are still available on Etsy.
