How Many Murrini Can Fit Into One Bracelet Bead?

That IS the question – at least for me it is lately! Of course, the short answer is, “as many as I possibly can!”. ๐Ÿ˜€

I definitely push the limits of what these little beads can hold – I try to keep the overall size of the bead at or under 1/2″ x 3/4″ which is already a little on the big side for standard Pandora sized beads. In my opinion, though, I think the trade off a slightly bigger size is definitely worth it for the extra eye candy all those murrini chips give you in a single bead.

So if you can forgive the ‘generous’ size of my encased murrini bracelet beads I think you’ll truly love these little beauties. They add so much color, interest, and fun to your already beautiful Pandora-style bracelets ๐Ÿ™‚

Encased Flower Murrini Big Hole Beads

Maybe it’s the warmer weather (we were in the 90’s the other day!), but this week I was inspired to make a few large hole beads with my handmade flower murrini. These particular murrini are incredibly painstaking to make because they involve so many steps – but the results are worth it. When encased in clear glass they come alive and have so much detail and beauty. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them –

Underwater Aquarium Glass Bead Necklaces

These three beads were the models I used in my last tutorial, Making Beautiful Encased Murrini Beads.

I have held onto them all this time because they came out so nice, and were sentimental to me. But it is time to allow others to enjoy them as I have for so long. They are truly beautiful and full of tiny micro-details. I swear I see something new and different every time I look at them. ๐Ÿ˜€

A Trip to Disneyland & New Beads

This time last week my family and I were at the happiest place on earth – Disneyland!ย  And, as commanded by every ‘cast’ member we encountered there, we truly had a *magical day* the entire time we were there. For us Disneyland is the perfect stay-cation getaway in SoCal! ๐Ÿ˜€

Here’s a quick peek at the view from our hotel room (notice Mickey in the shrubbery toward the bottom of the photo):

And here’s a picture of a Disney-cat! There are dozens of cats that live on the DL property year round. This little guy was just a kitten and curled up next to us by the pool one night. Such a cutie!

When I got home it was time to get back to work (never easy after a vacation) but inspiration struck and I came up with these new beads: ๐Ÿ˜€

BARNACLES – pendant necklace
GARDEN PARTY – pendant necklace
GODIVA – bicone focal
SWEETPEA – pendant necklace
TIDEPOOL – pendant necklace
