Well, I might be a little ‘late to the party’, but better late than never, right? Lol! ๐Ÿ˜€

handmade lampwork glass art murrini beadsYou can now find CCGlassArt on the ‘IG’ and I would absolutely love it if you would join me there.

Little by little I’m uploading lots of my bead photos, and will upload some videos there too…if I can figure out how to do that. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now that the weather has cooled down I am gearing up to get back to the torch. I have so many new ideas for designs, I can’t wait! I need to make a few adjustments to my current torch set-up first, but once that’s done I’ll be good-to-go.

As always, I will keep you updated with any news and soon, some new beads to show.

Thank you for your continued support (and patience) while I found my inspiration to make beautiful beads again.

Introducing New Lampwork European Charm Bracelet Bead Designs

I have been obsessed with making encased murrini beads, (and pretty much ONLY encased murrini beads), for the past 2-3 years. And while I still love making them, it is nice to allow my creativity to flow in other directions once in a while. ๐Ÿ˜€

I also have been thinking it would be nice to offer simpler, less intricate (and less expensive), beads that can compliment my encased murrini charm beads. While I love wearing an entire charm bracelet full of my Reef series beads – I think most people like to use them as accent pieces on a bracelet of many different designs in coordinating colors.

Many of these new charm bracelet beads I’ll be introducing are actually glass designs I have been using for many years in other types of jewelry beads. It will be a fun challenge to re-interpret them on a much smaller scale in my European-style charm bracelet beads. ๐Ÿ™‚

These beads are available now on Etsy!

Rainy Day Beads

We have rain! And I am most definitely not complaining… Not only are we are in a serious drought here in California, so the rain is very much needed, but I have been waiting sooo long for the weather to finally cool off. So while it’s dark, gloomy, and wet outside – it’s definitely a good thing!

Here’s some new beads to brighten up your week ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Available now on Etsy.

CCGlassArt Encased Murrini Big Hole Beads

At last…NEW Lampwork Big Hole Beads!

The past couple months has been brutal, weather-wise. We’ve had one of the hottest summers I can remember. And, sadly, we’re not done yet! We will enjoy a little relief at the end of this week, where the temps will only be in the high 80’s, then it’s back up to almost 100+ again for another undetermined period of time.ย  ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Thankfully we had a short break in the heat last week which allowed me a chance to hop on the torch for a while. It had been so long since I had last made beads that I really enjoyed myself. Can’t wait to get back beading more regularly! Hopefully by November the last of the heat waves will have passed…

Available now on Etsy – Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜€

How Many Murrini Can Fit Into One Bracelet Bead?

That IS the question – at least for me it is lately! Of course, the short answer is, “as many as I possibly can!”. ๐Ÿ˜€

I definitely push the limits of what these little beads can hold – I try to keep the overall size of the bead at or under 1/2″ x 3/4″ which is already a little on the big side for standard Pandora sized beads. In my opinion, though, I think the trade off a slightly bigger size is definitely worth it for the extra eye candy all those murrini chips give you in a single bead.

So if you can forgive the ‘generous’ size of my encased murrini bracelet beads I think you’ll truly love these little beauties. They add so much color, interest, and fun to your already beautiful Pandora-style bracelets ๐Ÿ™‚
